New LSPB Church: Where Faith and Community Meet

Over the past year, Little Salem Primitive Baptist Church has continued to demonstrate that it is alive, growing, and firmly rooted in the Word of God. The Lord has continued to add to the church regularly, bringing individuals and families who are seeking a place where they can learn the Word, feel genuinely welcomed, and find ministry that seeks to meet the needs of the entire family. Growth always brings both opportunity and responsibility, and we are thankful that the congregation has continued to adjust and evolve as new members are grafted into the branch of the vine that is Little Salem.

As Pastor, it has remained my conviction that responsibility must begin with leadership accountability and with men and fathers taking their rightful places as spiritual leaders within the home and the church. One of the most encouraging developments this past year has been the return of men to the church and the establishment of a Men’s Sunday School Class focused on nurturing young men into strong, faithful leaders. We are also blessed with a wealth of youth who are hungry for the knowledge of God’s Word, and the church remains committed to providing the resources, support, and guidance necessary to help them become leaders within both the church and the community.

Looking ahead, the vision for Little Salem is clear. Quality teaching and preaching will remain the focal point of the ministry. Through our men’s and women’s “Daily WORD” programs, members are being uplifted, encouraged, and strengthened spiritually, and we intend to continue building upon these efforts by increasing Bible study opportunities and deepening biblical understanding across the congregation. Finally, we recognize the continued need to reach beyond the church walls through outreach, service, and community engagement. Little Salem will continue striving to carry the Word into the community and, when necessary, speak truth with courage and conviction to power within our local schools and government. We trust that God will continue to guide this church as we move forward together in faith.
